The summer transfer window hasn’t started yet, but a report suggests that the futures of several Paris Saint-Germain players might be uncertain. One of them is Manuel Ugarte, who has already spoken out about the rumors.

Ugarte had a promising start to his first season at PSG, making quite an impression early on. However, as the season progressed, he found himself slipping down the ranks, mostly serving as a substitute or rotational player with limited playing time.

As a result, rumors of his future in the French capital are surfacing. AC Milan and Juventus have their sights set on the Uruguayan player, according to reports. Both Serie A clubs are keen on bringing him in to provide more playing time and opportunities on the field.

L’Equipe provided the latest regarding the 23-year-old. Their information reveals that Ugarte potentially leaving this summer isn’t a taboo topic within the club. He simply doesn’t match the kind of player Enrique is seeking for the No. 6 position.

While his departure is on the table, it’s not without conditions or without considering the right price. PSG have floated him to Italian clubs, primarily Juventus and AC Milan. Moreover, off the pitch, Ugarte hasn’t always found smooth sailing this season either.

Following PSG’s 3-1 loss on Sunday night at the Parc des Princes, Ugarte spoke with Amazon Prime and spoke about his future amid the transfer rumors.

“We’ll see,” Ugarte said. “I would love to [stay at PSG]. We’ll have to see. For now, I’m here and enjoying the end of the season.”
