Brighton central defender Adam Webster says there is no looking back for him this season.

The veteran made his first start for two months in a 1-0 win over Aston Villa at the weekend.

While Webster is disappointed at how this season unfolded, he simply wants to become a regular starter again.

He told The Argus: I have not played that many games. JP (van Hecke) has been outstanding. When I have been in, I'll be honest, I've not hit the heights I know I'm capable of.

When you don't have the rhythm of not playing week in and week out, it can be really tough to find your feet.

It is the same as any player. It has been a frustrating campaign personally but I'm not looking at that now.

I'm just looking to finish as well as possible."
