Derek Jeter made his first MLB on Fox appearance on Saturday afternoon during coverage of the league's London game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs.
Following the game he received a welcome gift from former long-time rival – and Boston Red Sox star – David Ortiz.
The gift was a custom Boston Red Sox jersey with Jeter's name and number on the back.
David Ortiz just pranked Derek Jeter on his first day at FOX...

Jeter got rid of that thing QUICKLY.
The Yankees and Red Sox, of course, have one of baseball's fiercest rivalries, with Ortiz and Jeter playing central roles in it throughout the 2000s.
Ortiz's prank also brought back memories of one of the great ESPN Sportscenter commercials, when he put on Jorge Posada's Yankees hat, much to the dismay of the Red Sox mascot.
You do not want to wear the other team's colors in that rivalry. Not even as a joke.
Jeter played his entire 20-year career with the Yankees, collecting 3,465 career hits and helping the team win five World Series. Ortiz played the bulk of his career with the Red Sox and helped the team win three World Series.
Both players have already been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
